Clever has been building competition-grade shotgun ammunition in Verona, Italy for over 70 years. The T3 Hunt brings that manufacturing precision to the field — purpose-built for hunters who want real performance out of a lighter gun.
Why This Load
A 1 oz. payload of hardened #6 lead shot at 1275 fps is one of the most capable upland field loads available in 20 gauge. The elevated velocity extends effective range and compensates for the gauge's naturally smaller shot column — you're not giving anything up compared to a heavier 12-gauge field load at moderate distances.
Hardened lead holds pellet shape through the wad and down the barrel, delivering tighter, more consistent patterns at distance. Fewer deformed pellets means cleaner kills.
What It's Built For
Pheasant — #6 at 1275fps carries enough energy at 35–45 yards to cleanly take roosters.
Quail and bobwhite — the 1 oz. shot column provides density even on longer flushes out of tight cover.
Woodcock, snipe, and partridge — versatile enough for close flushes and crossing shots alike.
Wood pigeon and turtledove — works on pass shooting and decoyed birds.
